A random item is one of the best ways to keep a long world fresh. Stuck after the last boss? Roll something and make obtaining it your next objective. The depth is in reading the roll against your stage: a weapon that carries you against the Eye of Cthulhu pre-hardmode is a footnote after Moon Lord. Set a full challenge: a weapon, an armor set, and a few accessories, cleared using only what you drew, or let a random weapon pick which class you are stuck playing. The boss-summon items double as a boss-rush randomizer: roll one and fight whatever comes up.

The type filter fits the draw to your run: weapons for a damage challenge, armor or accessories for defense, tools for mining, potions for a buff loadout, or summons to line up a fight. Leave it on All for a true grab-bag. On Expert and Master worlds a weak rolled loadout turns an ordinary boss into a real wall.

Switch to the grid to see a loadout at once, or the wheel for a reveal with some suspense. Copy the list into a server challenge, or share a link that locks in your filter and count so everyone runs the exact same set, handy for races. Every name is a real item from the game, so whatever you roll is something you can genuinely obtain.
